Feast of Plenty

Type: Standard
Nicknames: Crunchers, Monsters, Cannibals, Desequencers
Technique: The students of Feast of Plenty find their mutoids optimized for only one thing: landing mortal blows upon their opponents. Whether through exploitation of soft underbellies or blind spots in defenses, the plunderer rains down a desperate assault upon their opponents stemming from an uncontrollable hunger for mutoid flesh. The secrets of the crunch matchers reveal themselves after the battle has ended and the hungry mutoid begins to devour the body of its swooned opponent. Feast of Plenty allows a mutoid to consume the flesh of its opponent and integrate its second tier morphogenetic properties into itself. In this way a cruncher mutoid becomes more powerful as it slays more opponents, adding their powers to its own grisly collection. Disturbingly it would seem that any mutoid consumed by a cruncher is utterly destroyed as if it had been processed by a Mutoid Gene Desequencer, ruling out revival by Angel’s Kiss or resurrection based abilities.
Training: The regimen for Feast of Plenty is comprised of three sections: Exploiting vital areas in opponents, drawing sustenance from slain mutoids and honing the trainers imagination to make the theft possible. the mutoid is put through what amounts to attack dog classes to make it more ferocious and blood thirsty in battle. It’s diet is comprised of exclusively mutoid meat based foods with a preference for animals it can catch itself. The trainer must study as much second tier theory as possible and try to imagine how its mutoid draws the second tier abilities from it’s opponents and puts them into practice. This proves to be difficult for most children and slightly more accessible to adults, whose desperation for a mutoid that can accumulate power after the adult has ‘left neverland’ often fuels the adaptations necessary for Feast of Plenty to function.
Variant: It is not often one will see a Reanimator involved in one on one fights. These mutoids differ from their vanilla counterparts in that they store the stolen morphogenetic potential within their bodies until they infuse it within a mutoid corpse. The body is brought back to a semblance of life and retains nothing of its former existence save for a handful if its original second tier abilities. Kumite’s employ the Reanimators to keep a steady supply of fodder for grudge matches and free for all events.
